Cooking school

In a wing of the ground floor, Gambero Rosso has set up the Palermo’s Città del Gusto, a cooking school that holds professional courses, events, meetings, short courses and master-classes given by the greatest chefs of our country’s cuisine.
The school offers a rich variety of courses to satisfy every curiosity and deepen knowledge of the world of food and wine. There are courses at different levels to meet every requirement.

Cooking classes for amateurs: courses for all tastes, ideal for beginners and those who are already familiar with pans and ovens.

Advanced professional cooking courses: short two-day courses for experts on new trends in catering and technology.

“How to” classes: these are aimed at both enthusiasts and professionals who want to learn how to make the perfect coffee or cappuccino, delicious cocktails or long drinks.

Classes given by great chefs: cooking classes held by the greatest chefs in Italy, the standard-bearers of all that is best in Italy.

Team building courses: team building activities for top managers and the sales forces of small, medium and large companies.

Courses in restaurant management: from how to set out a menu to food cost management; courses for restaurant managers to help them manage business operations.

There are also courses devoted to the world of wine, which explore the techniques of wine tasting and the wine scene in Sicily, Italy and the rest of the world.
